Narayan Nagbali Puja Vidhi
The three-day-long Vedic rituals of Narayan Nagbali majorly include two Pujan. First is Narayan Bali Puja and second is Nag Bali Puja. The two Pujas have two distinctive motives and are done in a flow over the three days. The religious activities begin with the initiation of the rituals by male members of the family. Firstly, prayers are offered at Trimbakeshwar temple worshipping Lord of the Universe: Mahadev Ji Later, the Priest will make all the arrangements to conduct the Pujan by placing idols of deities.

To begin the good deeds on the first day, the person who has initiated the religious activities of Narayan nagbali Puja is asked to take the first holy bath in Kushavarta Kund.It is preferred to wear pleasant colors and avoid black or green. The clothes to be worn after the holy bath have to be new. The next step is to offer prayers in Trimbakeshwar temple. The palace where Mahadev offers blessings and a chance to everyone who aims to secure peace in their lifetime. Moving ahead, the person who has initiated the Pujan along with Pandit ji would reach Ahilya Godavari Sangam to begin Narayan Nagbali Pujan. Later, Pandit Ji will be helping to take over the rituals. The two deities will be placed in two bowls, one for Lord Vishnu and another for Yama. The aim is to take a Sankalp which is known as Pradhan Sankalpa. The Vidhi of Puja involves Sankalp, Nyas, and Pujan of Kalash. The priest will place a bowl in the east and cut out the darbha in the southern direction. After that, you will be witnessing him sprinkling water drops and chanting mantras. With the help of this process, priests will be addressing Lord Ganesha, Lord Surya, and Lord Vishnu together. Moving ahead, the Priest will be idolizing the five major deities of Hinduism including Lord Brahma, Lord Mahes, Lord Vishnu, Preta, and Yama. There will be one after the other small Pujas which include agni sthapana, Ekadashi vishnu shradh, pind dan Parashar, purashsukt hawan, palashvidh, and panchdev shradh balidan. Second Day of Narayan Nagbali Puja at Trimbakeshwar
The second day holds great importance as the people who initiated the rituals of Narayan Nagbali are now performing a second religious bath and worshipping deities. At the beginning of the day, the person who is a male family member is asked to take a holy bath in the previous place known as Kushavarta Kund and has to wear the same clothes they wore on the first date. This is deliberately done, to help the person retain the same energy level and the aura that was initiated on the firstday with the blessing of the divine.Firstly, to begin with the rituals Panditji will be inviting Lord Vishnu first and Lord Brahma. It is believed to invite Lord Brahma at odd intervals, the sequence would be first, third, fifth, and likewise. The Pindas will now be offered to all the deities after taking their names in the form of chanting. Oneafter the other chant, one has to offer Pindas to each deity in a sequence. First Mahadev, then Lord Brahma, Lord Shiva, and finally Yama. The fifth Pinda has to be given to the deceased person through Lord Vishnu. At this point, it is considered the greatest blessing to offer clothing, jewels, gold, or cow to Brahmins. The process is incomplete here as now Panditji would be pouring holy water containing sesame seeds, Vidarbha, and tulsi leaves into the hands of the person who initiated the Pujan to help him offer them to respected deities. The second-day rituals will end here.
